It’s been nearly a year since we’ve rocked the walls of Poppy Love Smoke. So, it’s only fitting that we kick-off 2012 in the one spot in town where we use to let our hair down, kick our shoes off, and hang out all night with Joy Dennis, her band and everyone who touched the stage.
This New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2011 join us as we bring in the new year at our favorite hotspot, the NEWLY EXPANDED- Poppy Love Smoke. (Downtown Jacksonville)
We promise to resurrect all of the best elements from the old Black Thought Sundays, which, might I add is now called ” Black Thought Live” and we will be at Poppy’s every 4th Saturday of the month. (Yes, I said Saturday!)
This New Year’s Eve though, we decided to get a little naughty with it. I hope you don’t mind. 😉
*with my serious face* The theme for this New Year’s Eve Party is EROTICA.
So as always we are going to give you a lot of soulfully live music (+ DJ), tantalizing visuals, tasty aphrodisiacs, a specialty drink called “Good Lovin'” and when the morning comes we’ll even serve you breakfast. *devilish grin*
With all of that said, if you remember our house rules, it’s time for ROLL CALL!
