Al-kuh-mee] is the art of making something out of nothing according to her favorite book “The Alkhemist”; so what she is doing is taking whats left of Hip-Hop & transforming it into something more powerful for the worlds ear, in the form of music.
Alkhemi Jones is Hip-Hop, R&B, Neo-Soul, Rock AND everything in between. She evolved from these genres with a sound that is so familiar but yet so fresh. Hailing from Dallas, Texas and having traveled to different cities, her journey plays a major part in her music as she has worked with the likes of Jay Electronica, Supernova, and has been a featured artist at the legendary S.O.B.s in NYC. Currently in Atlanta, Alkhemi has a great team behind her and is on her way to a rare place in the music industry where only a few artists go. Ms. Jones sounds like a beautiful mix of Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu and Andre 3000 with a twist of UGK. Alkhemi is a true artist, as spoken by Manny Seal, one of the greatest hit makers of our time. She is a kid at heart, a scientist at mind, and a perfectionist at art. If her big red hair and alluring demeanor doesnt grab a hold of you; her music will. Alkhemi Jones is the embodiment of the evolution of music.

Sometimes people are who they are and as bad as we expect them to change we only ended up changing who we are to be with them- Noel Gautier
