Young Artist Campaign \”Art Is Important\”

Young Artists is a nonprofit organization being formed to provide a place where creative professionals are able to develop their talents within the performing and visual arts. We are dedicated to connecting these artists with the resources, skills, and services they need in order to propel their artistic careers. Y.A. serves artists within music, dance, theatre, visual, performance, written, and media art forms. By supplying our members with a dynamic, unique, and constantly evolving , Young Artists becomes a catalyst to personal success.
There are three entities under the Young Artists umbrella: artistic showcases, an extensive online resource and a creative facility.
Showcases are giving all types of artists an opportunity to perform or display their work in front of an audience of people. We plan to travel to major cities in the U.S. on small tour titled “UonTour”, showcasing local talent.
The Online community is a place where artists can go to promote their own work, learn industry news, possibly be our featured artist of the month, and get involved in our international community.
The Facility is currently under construction in Los Angeles, and it is a creative space with recording studios, a dance space, rehearsal rooms, music rooms, an art studio and editing bays. A place to go and have the resources to “get it done”.
The Pepsi Refresh Project is for all types of organizations that want to make a difference of some sort. It took us 6 months to get in, and now we’re here. We win by getting the most votes, and we are up against large organizations like the YMCA and Feed the Children, so we need all of the votes we can get. Our slogan for this campaign is “Art Is Important Too”.
